On July 23, 2013 Kaspersky Lab announced the release of Autopatch A for Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows (version 10.1.0.867).
Autopatch A speeds up the Web-Control component and improves its efficiency when downloading large files over HTTP.
To install Autopatch A automatically:
Autopatch A will be automatically installed on the computer during the next update session.
Reboot is required to apply the changes.
Autopatch A will be automatically installed on managed computers the next time the update task will be started.
After installation of the autopatch and subsequent reboot, the application version will change to 10.1.0.867 (a).
To view the full application version, click the Support link in the lower part of the main application window.
The version of the web_control.dll file in the application installation folder will change to 10.1.0.1018.
To view the full application version in the Administration Console:
The Updates installed field will display Autopatch A.
Release of antivirus database updates (required to protect your computer/server/mobile device)
