How to add a unique message ID to notifications from Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway

Notifications about a blocked message do not include the message ID, which is why it may be difficult to find in the backup storage. 

To add the ID of the original message to the notification:

  1. Open the web interface of Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway.
  2. Go to Rules, open the rule you need to edit and enable the notifications:

  1. Go to Settings -> Notifications.
  2. Add the following line to the notification template:

Message ID: %SMTP_MESSAGE_ID%

  1. Click Save.
  2.  

Now the notifications will include the unique message ID which will allow performing quick search for the message in the backup storage:
