The setup.ini file contains the installation parameters of Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 4.0 Light Agent. It is used for installation performed in the silent mode through the command prompt or through group policies.
The file is divided into sections, each section contains a set of installation parameters:
Path to the product installation folder.
Accepting or not accepting the license agreement. Values: 1 - accept, 0 - do not accept.
Password-protecting the access to application settings and parameters.
Setting the password scope for managing application settings and parameters. To specify multiple values, use the ; symbol. Set a password for the following areas:
SET - changing the application settings.
EXIT - closing the application.
DISPROTECT - disabling protection components and stopping scan tasks.
DISPOLICY - disabling the Kaspersky Security Center policy.
UNINST - removing the application from the computer.
DISCONTRL - disabling the control components (Application Startup Control, Application Privilege Control, Vulnerability Monitor, Device Control, Web Control).
REMOVELIC - removing the application license.
Switching Self-Defense on or off during the installation. Values: 1 - enable Self-Defense, 0 - Disable Self-Defense.
Rebooting the computer after the installation, if necessary.
Values: 1 - reboot, 0 - do not reboot.
Adding Microsoft applications to exclusions. Values: 1 - add to exclusions, 0 - do not add to exclusions.
Adding the areas recommended by Kaspersky Lab to exclusions from the scan scope. Values: 1 - add to exclusions, 0 - do not add to exclusions.
Installing or denying installation of the NDIS drivers. By default, the drivers are installed. Values: 1 - install the product without NDIS, 0 - install the product with NDIS.
Only applicable to 32-bit operating systems.
Adding the path to the executable files into the system variable %PATH%. Values: 1 - add files to %PATH%, 0 - do not add files to %PATH%.
Values: 1 - If the product is installed on Citrix PVS, 0 -If the product is not installed on Citrix PVS (default).
Installing all components.
Installation of Mail Anti-Virus.
Values: 1 - install, 0 - do not install
Installation of File Anti-Virus.
Installation of IM Anti-Virus.
Installation of Web Anti-Virus.
Installation of Application Privilege Control.
Installation of System Watcher.
Installation of Firewall.
Installation of Network Attack Blocker.

Release of antivirus database updates (required to protect your computer/server/mobile device)

One of the following hypervisors must be installed in the virtual infrastructure:

If you are using the virtualization solutions listed above, you must configure the recommended exclusions on a golden image.
Before installing the Light Agent for Windows on a virtual machine managed by the Citrix XenServer hypervisor, you must install XenTools.
Before installing the Light Agent for Windows on a virtual machine managed by the VMware ESXi, you must install the VMware Tools package.
On a virtual machine managed by the Microsoft Windows Server (Hyper-V) hypervisor, you must install the Integration Services package.
To avoid delays in the installation of application on the Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2 operating systems, please make sure that the Windows operating system automatically updates the list of trusted and untrusted (revoked) certificates of software vendors over the Internet via Windows Update. For systems that do not have access to Windows Update, or for systems on which automatic update of lists of trusted and untrusted certificates is disabled, manually make sure that these lists are up-to-date based on Microsoft recommendations:
Network Agent version 10.1.1-Х must be installed on a virtual machine where the Light Agent for Linux will be installed. Network Agent version 10.1.1-Х is included into the distribution package of Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 4.0 Light Agent.
