When accessing a network resource for the first time, the PC will request a DNS server name. This name is then placed into a special storage (cache) on the PC and will be used when you access the same resource in the future. This option accelerates the work of local network or Internet, but lowers your PC security level. That is why you have an option to Disable DNS Cache during Kaspersky Anti-Virus installation.
If you want to disable DNS cache but have not done so during installation of the Kaspersky Anti-Virus, you can enable the function Disable DNS Cache by means of the Windows OS:

This is required because if you have the option System Restore enabled, the system will need additional 500 MB of free disk space for successful installation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
