How often are anti-virus databases of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 for Mac updated?

Kaspersky Lab detects and adds about 30,000 new threats every day. As a Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 for Mac customer, updates are available to you every hour. The period of anti-virus databases updates can be less in periods of high virus activity or if a potentially dangerous threat is detected.

You can choose to update your protection manually but most users will allow a Kaspersky Lab product to update itself automatically for light-touch operation.
