Applies to Kaspersky Administration Kit 8.0

Kaspersky Administration Kit 8.0 allows the administrator to remotely uninstall antivirus software on client computers. The following Kaspersky Lab software can be uninstalled remotely:

  • Network Agent version 8.0
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Servers 6.0.3.x
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Servers 6.0.4.x
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstations 6.0.3.x
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstations 6.0.4.x
In order to remotely uninstall Kaspersky Lab software it is necessary to create a new Group task or a Task for specific computers. In the New task wizard: expand the section Advanced and select Product deinstallation task.

You will then be prompted to select an application you wish to uninstall.

Then select remote uninstall method: Forced uninstall or Login script-based removal. The choice depends on operating systems used on client computers and network configuration.

Information Administration Server version 8.0 does not allow indicating the uninstallation password in the task. You have to disable password-protection in the policy before uninstalling Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstations version 6.0.3.x.
