General info about real-time protection in Kaspersky Mobile Security 9.0

Real-Time Protection from Kaspersky Mobile Security 9.0 is launched at the operating system startup (Symbian OS or Windows Mobile), is permanently loaded in the device's RAM and monitors all opened, saved or run files. Files are scanned according to the following algorithm:

1. The component intercepts each attempt of access to each file from the part of the user or a program.
2. The file is scanned for the presence of malware object. Malicious objects are detected by comparison with program databases. The databases contain descriptions of all the malicious objects known to date and methods for neutralizing them. 

After the analysis, Kaspersky Mobile Security 9.0 may take the following courses of action:

• if malicious code was detected in the file, Kaspersky Mobile Security 9.0 blocks the file and performs an action in accordance with the settings
• if no malicious code is discovered in the file, it will be immediately restored. 

Information about the results of the scan is saved to the program log.
