To remove third-party software using
Microsoft Windows tools, do the following:
- On the start screen right-click free space.
- On the panel that appears at the bottom of the screen click the All apps button.
- In the Apps list find the necessary software and right-click it.
- On the pop-up panel click Uninstall.
- The process of system scan will start. Wait until the process is complete.
- In the window that will open confirm that you want to remove the product by clicking the Yes button. Wait until the process of uninstallation is complete.
In order to fully remove the product from your computer, you will be offered to restart your computer. Click the OK button.
When you uninstall the third-party product from the computer using Microsoft Windows tools, the Program Files folder may contain remains of previous antivirus product versions. If the folder contains folders/files of antivirus applications, delete them.
Try to install your Kaspersky Lab product once again.
