1. Click the Start button in the left lower corner of the screen.
2. Select Control Panel from the menu that will open.

3. Open the Folder options window one of the following methods:

Method 1. In the Tools menu select Folder Options. 

1. In the right part of the window click the Appearance and Themes link.  

2. In the bottom right part of the Appearance and Themes window click the Folder Options link.

Method 3. If the Control Panel is displayed in the classical view, double-click Folder Options. 

1. Select Folder Options in the Tool section.
2. Go to the View tab.
3. Check the Show hidden files and folders option.

3. In the left part of the Control Panel window, click Classic View.
4. Double-click the Folder Options item.

5. Go to the View tab.
6. Check the Show hidden files and folders option.
7. Click the OK button.

2. Select Control Panel from the menu that will open.
3. In the right upper corner click the Category link next to the View by section (Category is set by default) and select Small icons from the drop-down menu that will open.
4. In the All Control Panel Items window select the Folder Options item.
5. Go to the View tab.
6. Check the Show hidden files, folders and drives option.
