Concerning to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.5 for Lotus Domino 

During installing of Kaspersky Anti-virus for Lotus Domino the system undergoes the following changes: 

  • some files and folders are created 
    • The following files are added to the C:\Lotus\Domino folder: 

      nKavDbScanner.exe 
      nKavMailHook.dll 
      nKavMailMonitor.exe 
      nKavPostInstall.exe 
      nKavReplMonitor.exe 
      nKavUpdater.exe 
      klndlocresources.dll 
      kavdummy.txt 
      IUpdater.exe 
      pthreadVC2.dll 
      ss_storage.ini 
      kavstorage.dat 

    • the C:\Lotus\Domino\Data folder is created 

      klndquarantine.ntf 
      klndsettings.ntf 
      klndstatistics.nft 

    • the C:\Lotus\Domino\Data\KavBases folder is created with the databases of the Kaspersky Anti-Virus settings

      kldhelp.nsf 
      kldquarantine.nsf 
      kldsettings.nsf 
      kldstatistics.nsf 

    • The C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Lotus Notes\ folder is created 

Kaspersky Anti-Virus is installed in this folder (it can be changed during the installation process in the Select folder dialog window). If the folder does not exist it is created automatically. Anti-virus databases are also stored in the same folder. 

  • The following parameters are added to the configuration file Domino (C:\Lotus\Domino\notes.ini

The ServerTasks variable defines, what tasks should be automatically launched at the Domino server start-up. 

The EXTMGR_ADDINS and KavMailHookEnabledTasks variables define, in what server tasks the mail interceptor will function.
