How to open the main application window of Kaspersky Internet Security 2011?

Back to "Starting the program" section

In order to open the main application window of Kaspersky Internet Security 2011, perform the following actions:

1. double-click the Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 icon in the taskbar notification area in the right lower part of the screen

or

1. in the left lower part of the screen, click the Start button
2. select Programs (All programs)
3. select Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 and then click the Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 item from the context menu

1. Find the avp.exe file in the following path: 
   • For users of Windows XP (32-bit/64-bit)/ Vista (32-bit) / 7 (32 bit): C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 2011.

      

   • For users of Windows Vista/7 (64-bitт): C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 2011.
2. Double click the avp.exe file.
3. In the bottom right corner of the screen left-click the icon of Kaspersky Internet Security 2011. 

After you perform the actions described above, the main application window of Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 will open.

If the main application window of Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 does not open, it means the protection does not function or malfunctions. In this case you should perform the application restore.
