How to upgrade Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 correctly?

If Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 is installed on your computer and you would like to upgrade to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011, you should do the following:

  1. download the product distributive of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 from the from the Kaspersky Lab’s official site
  2. uninstall Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010
    3. saving product's parameters (e.g. activation information and etc)
  3. run the downloaded file
  4. follow the instructions of the Setup Wizard
  5. restart your computer
  6. activate version 2011 if the activation information was not saved automaticaly during removal of version 2010.

Also you can easily migrate from Kaspersky Interent Security 2011 to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011.
