Applies to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011
At the start of the update process, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 creates a backup copy of the current databases and application modules. If necessary, you can restore the previous databases. Update roll back feature is useful in case the new databases version contains an invalid signature that makes Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 block a safe application.
In the event of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 database damage it is recommended to launch databases update to download a valid set of databases for up-to-date protection.
In order to roll back to the previous databases, perform the following actions:
- open the main application window
- in the left part od the main application window, select Update Сenter
- in the right part of the main application window, click the button Roll back to the previous databases
- in the Rollback window, click the button Roll back the last update
- wait until the process is completed.

The databases can be rolled back to the previous updates only.
