How to restore Kaspersky PURE to its initial state?

Back to "Installation / Uninstallation" section

In order to restore Kaspersky PURE to its initial state, perform the following actions:

1. In the right bottom corner of the screen right-click the product icon
2. Select Exit. If the icon is missing, go to the next step



3. In the left bottom corner of the screen click Start
4. Perform the following actions:
   • under Windows XP:
     • select All Programs
     • in the list of installed programs find Kaspersky PURE
     • in the menu select Modify, Repair or Remove

   

   • under Windows Vista/7:
     • select All programs
     • in the list of installed programs find Kaspersky PURE
     • in the menu select Repair or Remove

   

5. In the window of Kaspersky PURE select Repair



6. click Next 

 

7. once the repair process is over follow the instructions of the Configuration Wizard
8. after successful installation of Kaspersky PURE, you will be offered to restart your computer
9. in the Kaspersky PURE Configuration Wizard window click Finish
