Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Microsoft ISA Server and Forefront TMG Standard Edition has the highest award of the West Coast Labs research center.
The 2-month tests in the West Coast Lab network evaluated the malware threats detection efficiency in an environment resembling a real corporate network as close as possible.
The comparative analysis involved software of other vendors. The antivirus software was tested against real threats originating from a globally distributed system of Internet traps, as well as collections of known malware samples. The tests mimicked simultaneous attacks by the principle malware sources : email, infected websites, FTP server, and a P2P file exchanger.
