Synchronizing Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Smartphone with the Administration server

During a synchronization, the application settings configured in the policy are transferred to the device and reports on the operation of application components are transferred from the device to the remote administration system.

Mobile devices perform a synchronization with the Administration server automatically. The average amount of data transferred during a synchronization is about 20-40 Kb depending on the amount of transferred reports. The amount of transferred reports grows according to the time interval between synchronizations.

You can change the Server with Anti-Virus synchronization settings:

Select a policy for mobile devices in the Administration console;
Open the policy settings;
Go to the Network tab;

By default, Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Smartphone synchronizes with the Administration server every 6 hours.

You can block synchronizations when in roaming by enabling the corresponding option on the Network tab in the policy for mobile devices properties.
