You can start/stop Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8.0 for Mac tasks in command line. The kav start command syntax:
kav start <profile|task_name> [<report_settings>]
The kav stop command syntax :
kav stop <profile|task_name>
WarningYou need superuser rights to execute the stop command

where:
<report_settings> – defines the scan results report format. It can be an an absolute or a relative path. Without a value, the scan results are displayed and contain all events. The following values can be used:

-r:<report_file> – register important events only;

-ra:<report_file> – register all events. It can be an an absolute or a relative path. Without a value, the scan results are displayed and contain all events.

<profile|task_name> – The following values can be used:

file_monitoring (fm) – File Anti-Virus;
scan_my_computer (full) – full scan task;
scan_objects – scan objects;
scan_quarantine – scan the quarantine;
scan_critical_areas (quick) – quick scan task;
updater – update task;
rollback – rollback update task.

For example, the following command will start the File Anti-Virus:

kav start fm

The following command will stop the full scan task:
