Applies to Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Mac

You can manage the following Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Mac functions in command line:

  • display task execution status:

    kav status [<profile|task_name>]

  • display task execution statistics:

    kav statistics [<profile|task_name>]

    <profile|task_name> – one of the values listed for the start / stop command

  • exporting and importing protection settings files:

    kav export <profile|task_name> <task_name>

    kav import <task_name>

    WarningYou need superuser rights to execute the import command

    <profile|task_name> – one of the values listed for the start / stop command

    <file_name> – application settings file path to import from. It can be an an absolute or a relative path.

  • Application activation:

    kav addkey <file_name>

    <file_name> – .key 
    file path

    WarningYou need superuser rights to execute the command

  • application termination:

    kav exit
