By default, the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 for Mac icon appears on the Mac OS upper menu after installation.
The Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 for Mac icon indicates application work:
- if the icon is activate
, computer protection agains malware is enabled
- if the icon is inactive
, protection is disabled.
Also the icon provides access to the main application command via the context menu:
- the main application window
- Protection: enable/disable
- Quick Scan
- Update
- Preferences
- Exit
You can change the icon location by adding it to the Dock. In order to do this, perform the following actions:
- open the main application window
- on the upper part of the window click on the Preferences button
- on the Preferences window, go to the Appearance tab
- in the Show application icon section, check the required option
- close the Preferences window and the main application window
- restart the application.
The Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 for Mac icon appears on the Dock.
