Applies to Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Smartphone
For convenient management of the channels containing the application policy and the distribution package, it is recommended to associate them because they have the same properties.
To associate the channels:
- In the Administration menu, select Policies and Profiles.
- Select the required profile in the Policies and Profiles panel in the Group Profiles folder.
- For the selected profile, on the Allowed channels tab, click Create > Channel Set. The Channel Set Wizard window opens.
- Enter a name and description for the channel association.
- Select the folder on the server, and click the Next button.
- From the list, select the channels that you need to associate, and click Next.
- Indicate the sequence for executing the channels, and click Finish.
The administrator must ensure that execution of the channels on the devices occurs in the strict sequence: first, transfer the policy file, then the distribution package. Then, when the channels are executed on the mobile devices, first the application policy will be transferred, then the application installation will start, and the application settings that have been configured will be applied to the application immediately.
