It is necessary to have the Client Afaria application installed on the mobile devices.
During a synchronization with the Sybase Afaria server, a channel / association of channels containing a policy file and an application distribution package is delivered to the mobile devices. Then the policy file and the application distribution package are copied into the target folder on the device, and the installation starts automatically.
No additional actions are required for the Microsoft Windows Mobile and BlackBerry operating systems during application installation.

The policy is applied automatically after installing Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Smartphone. If the policy contains a key file, Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Smartphone is activated after applying the policy.
