If you installed a Kaspersky Lab product, ten for its full functional mode you need to activate the program with a license. You can purchase a license via eStore or from our partners.
An activation code is a unique set of characters that comes in 4 blocks of 5, separated by a hyphen(-). Each block comprises of 5 characters which can be a combination of letters and numbers, which comes to a total of 20 characters. An activation code is required to activate Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 for File Server, which you have purchased via E-Store.
Activation codes are purchased for each Kaspersky Lab product separately.

The activation code for all box versions can be found on the Quick Start Guide which is included in the box - see below illustration:
If you have purchased Kaspersky Small OfficeSecurity 2 on DVD, then the activation code can be found on the left part of the DVD-box.

If you have purchased Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 via E-Store, the activation code will be sent to you via e-mail you have specified when making the order.

An unused activation code can be activated at any time, but the license will begin to expire on the day of initial activation.
This information does not refer to trial activation codes which go on CD-disks in magazines. Validity period of trial activation codes is restricted.

If you have lost/forgotten your activation code, then in order to restore it, create a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via the My Kaspersky Account service. In the request describe your problem in all details, specify the place and date of the purchase and your license number (OBLIGATORY, for example, 0XXX-000XXX-000XXXXX).

if you have purchased Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 for File Server via E-Store, you need to specify your order number which can be found in the e-mail sent after initial purchase.
