How to change log details in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Storage

By default, Anti-Virus task logs register Important events only. You can change log details level for each component (Anti-Virus task):

  1. right-click the node Logs and select Properties

  2. choose an Anti-Virus task in the drop-down menu Component



  3. Choose a preset details level in the drop-down menu Security level (Informational events, Important events, Critical events, Custom).

    You can view the list of events logged by the selected Anti-Virus task (component) on a particular preset Security level.

    You can change the list of events logged by the selected Anti-Virus task (component) by choosing the level Custom. 

    The column Logs allows selecting events to register in the task log. The column Event log allows selecting events to register in the Windows Event Log (Computer Management>System Tools>Event Viewer>Kaspersky Event Log).

For example, if you want the task On-demand-scan to log information about all scanned objects (not infected also), select On-demand-scan in the drop-down menu Component, and Informational events in the drop-down menu Security level, or select Custom and check the box Object not infected.
