How to create a virtual protected area (files and folders)

How to add a virtual disk into the protected area:

  1. Go to the console node Real-time protection > Real-time file protection.

  2. Go to the tab Configuring protection scope in the right pane, right-click the node Virtual drives, select Add virtual drive, and choose its name.



  3. Check the box next to the new virtual drive to include it into the protected area.

  4. Right-click the console node Real-time file protection and invoke the command Save task.

How to add a virtual folder or file into the protected area:

  1. Go to the console node Real-time protection > Real-time file protection.

  2. Go to the tab Configuring protection scope in the right pane, right-click the node to add a file/folder to, and select either Add virtual folder or Add virtual file.



  3. Enter a file (folder) name. It can be done using a mask (via symbols * and ?).

  4. Check the box next to the new folder (file) to include it into the protected area.

  5. Right-click the console node Real-time file protection and invoke the command Save task.
