How to enable or disable traces in Kaspersky Password Manager 8.0 (Windows)

If you experience problems with Kaspersky Password Manager, Kaspersky Lab Technical Support may ask you to send product trace files to identify your issue.

To enable traces in Kaspersky Password Manager (Windows):

  1. Enable display of hidden files and folders.
  2. Open and unlock Kaspersky Password Manager.
  3. In the lower right corner of the main product window, click the menu and select Settings.

  1. Select Miscellaneous and select the check box Log application events in the right frame.

Go to the Miscellaneous tab and select Log application events

  1. Reproduce the problem in the product.
  2. The log files will be created in the folder C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Password Manager\Logs.

  1. Clear the check box Log application events in the Miscellaneous tab of the settings.
