Problem:

Sometimes users may get the following errors in the process of updating workstations:
  • Error with signature validation;
  • Message about blacklist being corrupt or not found;

Reason:

The update task for client computers started while the Administration Server was downloading and copying a new set of databases into the update repository. It happens when the update schedule for client computers differs from When new updates are downloaded to the repository.

Solution:

  1. Change the update task run schedule to When new updates are downloaded to the repository.
  2. If it is impossible for any reason, you can add a supplementary update source after the source Administration Server.

    You can use the shared folder with Administration Server updates for this purpose. By default this shared folder is \\<Administration_Server_network_name>\Share\Updates\, where Share is the name of the network folder selected during installation of the Administration Server.

    In this case, the error will keep occurring, but the client will skip to the supplementary update source and download actualized databases from it. It is highly probable that the Administration Server finishes copying updates by that time.
