If you want Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 for Personal Computer to scan established secured connections on your computer, perform the following actions: In order to enable encrypted connections scan in Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 for Personal Computer, perform the following actions:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the top right corner of the main application window click the Settings link.
  3. In the left part of the Settings window select Network.
  4. In the right part of the window in the Encrypted connections scan section check the Scan encrypted connection box.

    Warning Kaspersky Lab certificate need be installed to scan encrypted connections.



  5. Click on the Install certificate button.

     

    InformationThe certificate is installed automatically in the browsers Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. In order to scan encrypted connection in the Opera browser, you should manually install Kaspersky Lab certificate. 

  6. In some cases the Security Warning message may appear. To proceed with the installation, click on the Yes button.

  8. On the Certificate window on the General tab, click on the Install Certificate... button.
  9.  

  10. On the Certificate Import Wizard window, click Next.
  11.  

  12. In the Certificate Store window, select the certificate store:
    • Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate – to automatically define store of the certificate.

       

    • Place all certificates in the following store – to select the place to store all certificate on your own. For this, click the Browse... button, select the required store place and click the OK button. 

     

    To proceed with the installation click the Next button.

  13. In the Completing the Certificate Import Wizard window, check whether the specified settings are correct. To start the certificate import process click on the Finish button

  15. After the certificate is successfully imported the message The import was successful will appear. Click OK
  16. .

     

  17. In the Certificate window, click OK.
  18.  

  19. In the Settings window, click OK.
  20. Close the main application window.

After you have installed the certificate, SSL-traffic is scanned using the Kaspersky Lab certificate.
