If your trial license has expired, in the main Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 window a banner will appear informing that “Computer security is at risk. License: expired.”

If notifications about license validity are enabled, then you will also see the following pop-up windows in the bottom right hand part of the screen:

  • notification that "Trial license has expired"

  • notification that "Protection is not running"

In order to purchase a commercial activation code for Kaspersky Internet Security 2012, perform the following: 

Information The computer on which Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 is installed should be connected to the Internet.

The After the Trial page will be opened.

Find Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 and select the appropriate options for the license (PCYear) and then click “Buy Now”.

After that you will be redirected to your Shopping Cart. Follow the instructions and make your purchase. You can find detailed instruction on how to purchase a license in KB6367.

After your purchase processes you will get an email with an activation code for Kaspersky Internet Security 2012.
