How to configure Kaspersky Gadget in Kaspersky Internet Security 2012?

When you use Kaspersky Anti-Virus/Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 on a computer running the operating system Microsoft Windows Vista or Microsoft Windows 7, Kaspersky Gadget is available to you.

Configuring the gadget

You can configure the gadget to enable you to perform the following actions via its button:

• Start an update.
• Edit application settings.
• View application reports.
• Switch to the safe desktop (only for 32-bit operating systems).
• View Parental Control reports.
• View information about network activity (Network Monitor) and application activity.
• Pause protection.
• Open the Virtual Keyboard.
• Open the Task Manager window.

To configure the gadget:

1. Open the gadget settings window by clicking the spanner icon that appears in the upper-right corner of the gadget block if you hover over it with the mouse cursor.
2. In the Kaspersky Gadget window for sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 select the actions to be performed when clicking the gadget button.
3. In the Kaspersky Gadget window, click OK.

You can also change the gadget's external appearance by selecting a smaller or larger sized image for the gadget on the desktop (only available for users of the OS Windows 7).

To change the gadget's external appearance, in the upper-right corner of the gadget block click Larger size/Smaller size:
