In order to resolve the problem appeared, Kaspersky Lab Technical Support is required to receive a detailed report of update process performed by Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012. During update, all results are registered in the report.
In order to get a detailed update report, perform the following actions:
Step 1. Enable the option of logging non-critical events
In order to register all events of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012, perform the following actions:
- Open the main application window.
- On the upper right hand corner of the main application window, click Settings.
- On the upper left hand part of the Settings window, go to the Advanced Settings tab.
- On the left hand part of the Settings window, select Reports and Storages.
- On the right hand part of the Settings window, check the box Log non-critical events.
- Click on the OK button in the Settings window.
- Close the main application window.

Step 2. Run databases update
Run databases update task in
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012.Step 3. Wait until the process is completed or ends with an error
Step 4. Export to a file the update report
In order to export the report, perform the following actions:
- Open the main application window.
- On the upper right hand part of the main application window, click Reports.
- On the bottom part of the Reports window, click on the Detailed report button.
- On the left hand part of the Detailed report window, select Update.
- On the bottom left hand corner of the window, click on the Save link.
- Select the required folder to save the report.
- Enter the unique file name.
- Click on the Save button.
- On the Detailed report window, click on the Close button.
- On the Reports window, click on the Close button.
- Close the main application window.

Step 5. Add the created file to the archive
Add the created file to the archive with the unique name (for example, using WinZip).
Step 6. Create a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support
Create a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via the My Kaspersky Account service. Describe your problem in all details and attach the created report.
Step 7. Disable the option of logging non-critical events
