How to upgrade Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010/2011 to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 correctly?

If Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 / 2011 is installed on your computer and you would like to upgrade to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012, you should do the following:
  1. In an email message the eStore click the link to download the distributive. If the link validity period has expired, download the distributive from the Kaspersky Lab site.
  2. In the File download window click Save.
  3. In the Save as window select the location to save the distributive (Desktop is the default location) and click Save.
  4. When the file download is complete, click Close.
  5. Find and run the downloaded distributive (with the .exe extension), by left-clicking it.
  6. Follow the instructions of the Setup Wizard.

You can also migrate from Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 to Kaspersky Internet Security 2012:
