Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 databases update error (component KLAVA)

In some cases after update of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 anti-virus databases, the message "KLAVA component could not be updated" may appear in the report.

The error may appear in cases when System Watcher is disabled.

In order to eliminate the error, perform the following actions:

  1. open the main application window
  2. in the right upper corner of the main application window, click Settings 
  3. in the upper part of the Settings window, select Protection Center
  4. in the left part of the Settings window, select System Watcher
  5. in the right part of the Settings window, check the box Enable System Watcher
  6. click the OK button in the Settings window
  7. in the bottom part of the main application window, select Update
  8. click on the button Run Update
  9. wait until the update process is completed.
