Activation code is a unique set of 20 symbols which is used to activate Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012. An activation code contains 4 blocks of 5 symbols and looks like XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.

Activation code is required to activate a commercial version of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012.

In Kaspersky Lab 2012 products you can add a new activation code besides an active license.

When a few days remain until your license expire you can renew your license for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 and add a new activation code to the application as a reserved activation code.

Once your license expires a new activation code will be automatically activated. There will be no disruptiuon of your security.
