How to enable password protection in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012?

In order to block unauthorized access to the application settings, you can enable password protection in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012.

You can password protect the following actions:

• Application settings configuration
• Exiting the application
• Removing the application

In order to enable the password protection in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012, perform the following actions:

1. open the main application window
2. on the upper right hand corner of the main application window, click Settings
3. on the upper left hand part of the Settings windows, select Protection Center
4. on the left hand part of the Settings window, select General Settings
5. on the right hand part of the Settings window, check the box Enable password protection
6. click on the Settings button
7. on the Password protection window, type a password to the fields New password and Confirm password
8. in the Password scope section, check the boxes for the required actions to be password protected
9. on the Password protection window, click on the OK button
10. on the Settings window, click on the OK button
11. close the main application window.
