After installation of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 some Internet pages can be imaged incorrectly. If you have the same problem, perform the following to rectify it:

Step 1. Disable  the application self-defense.

Step 2. In the C:\ root directory create the folder http_packets.

Step 3. Enable tracing Notify (500) using the utility from the application interface.

Step 4. Perform the following actions:

    • if your computer works under OS Windows XP/Vista/7 (32-bit):
      • run the file trace_httpanzl.reg from the folder x86 located in the http_panzl12.zip
    • if your computer works under OS Windows XP/Vista/7 (64-bit):
      • run the file trace_httpanzl.reg from the folder x64 located in the http_panzl12.zip.

Step 5. Restart Kaspersky Internet Security 2012. To do it, perform the following:

  1. right-click the Kaspersky icon in the right lower part of the screen
  2. select Exit from the context menu
  3. click the Start button
  4. select the All programs item
  5. select Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 from the list of applications
  6. select Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 from the application context menu that will open.

Step 6. Save the product’s settings to a file.

Step 7. Reproduce the problem: launch the Internet browser and try to open the “problem” site.

Step 8. Make a screenshot of the problem site.

Step 9. Close the browser.

Step 10. Pack all files in the folder C:\http_packets to an archive, for example, by WinZip, and give the archive a unique name. Delete all files from the folder C:\http_packets.

Step 11. Perform the following actions:

    • if your computer works under OS Windows XP/Vista/7 (32-bit):
      • run the file trace_httpanzl_OFF.reg from the folder x86 located in the http_panzl12.zip
    • if your computer works under OS Windows XP/Vista/7 (64-bit):
      • run the file trace_httpanzl_OFF.reg from the folder x64 located in the http_panzl12.zip.

Step 12. Disable tracing.

Step 13. Enable the application self-defense.

Step 14. Get the report about the system state using the application's utility.

Send the received information with the description of the problem to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via the My Kaspersky Account service.
