Notifications allow you get on-the-fly information about application operation and thus timely react to important events. By default
Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 notifies you of all important events connected with the application operation the following ways:
- Pop-up messages in the taskbar notification area,
- Sound notifications.
Regardless of whether the notifications delivery is enabled or disabled, information about events that occur in the operation of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012, is logged in the application operation report. You can also enable the
email notifications option; this will allow
Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 to notify you of events by email to the specified email address.
Configuring notifications for different types of events
You can configure delivery of email notifications for different types of events. For this, perform the following actions:
- Open the main application window.
- In the upper right part of the window click Settings.
- In the Settings window go to the Advanced Settings tab.
- In the left part of the window select Notifications.
- Make sure the Enable events notification option is enabled and click the Settings button.
- In the Notifications window check the events whose notifications you would like to receive by email.
- In the Notifications window click the OK button.
- In the Settings window click the OK button.
- Close the main application window.
