Even if an application is added to the trusted group in some cases at the application startup a window pops up requesting access to the network. Most probably, the problem appears because the application inherits restrictions from the parental process/application, i.e. the status of the parental process for the application you are starting was "prompt for action" when requesting access to the network. On the picture parental process of the Internet Explorer program is the Windows Explorer process.

In order to disable inheritance, perform the following actions:

  1. In the notification window click on the link with the name of the launched application.
  2. On the window Application rules on the Exclusions tab, check the box Do not inherit restrictions of the parent process (application).
  3. Click on the OK button.

  1. In the notification window check the box Apply always.
  2. Select the Allow option.

If you have already closed the window with the request and have not disabled the Inherit restrictions of the parent process (application) option for the launched application, then you can change the rules for the program in Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 interface. In order to do this, perform the following actions:

  1. open the main application window
  2. on the upper right hand corner of the main application window, click Settings
  3. on the upper left hand part of the Settings window, select Protection Center
  4. on the left hand part of the Settings window, select Application Control
  5. on the right hand part of the Settings window, click on the Applications button
  6. on the Applications window, select the required application and click on the Edit button located in the upper menu.
  7. on the Application rules window, go to the Exclusions tab
  8. check the box Do not inherit restrictions of the parent process (application)
  9. on the Application rules window, click on the OK button
  10. on the Applications window, click on the OK button
  11. on the Settings window, click on the OK button
  12. close the main application window.
