How to uninstall Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows via Kaspersky Security Center 9

Kaspersky Security Center allows uninstalling antivirus software from client hosts remotely.

  1. Create a new Group task or a Task for specific computers for remote removal of Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8.
  2. In the New task wizard, select Kasperksy Security Center Administration Server > Advanced > Uninstall application remotely.


  3. Then select Uninstall the application supported by Kasperksy Security Center.


  4. In the drop-down menu, select an application you want to remove, for example, Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows.


  5. If there is no Network Agent installed on the client host, we recommend enabling the Using Microsoft Windows resources by means of Administration Server option.


  6. Then select the computers to uninstall Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows from. The selection can be based on existing domains or the Managed computers group.
  7. Choose an account to run the task.

    This account will be used for running the remote uninstallation task. This can be either the account used for running the Administration Server, or any other user account.

    Information You should choose an account that has administrator permissions on the corresponding remote hosts. You can add several accounts and arrange them in the desired order.


  8. The final step is scheduling the remote uninstallation task.

Once the task is created, you can modify it by changing the accounts list, schedule, and notifications about the results.
