How to disable the policy for a particular client computer

  • You can disable the policy for a particular client computer:
    1. Open the desired application policy, select Advanced settings > Interface in the left frame.

    2. Enable the Enable password protection and click Settings next to it.

    3. Enter a password and select desired operations in the Password scope section. If you choose Selected operations, you should check the Disable Kaspersky Security Center policy box.

    4. Right-click the Kaspersky Endpoint Security system tray icon on a client computer, select Disable policy, enter the password and click OK (the option becomes available after a synchronization).

      The computer will be free from that policy until you enable the policy again (right-click the Kaspersky Endpoint Security system tray icon on a client computer, select Enable policy) or restart Kaspersky Endpoint Security.

      Information It is possible to enable a policy on a client computer remotely. The only way to do it is by restarting Kaspersky Endpoint Security. Open that computer properties tab Applications, right-click Kaspersky Endpoint Security and select Stop and then Start.
