Kaspersky Security Center allows customizing the Administration console interface.

How to configure Kaspersky Security Center console interface:

Select the Administration server console tree node.
Select View > Configuring interface in the menu.
Configure the interface elements as desired:

Display slave Administration servers

If enabled, the Administration console tree will display the nodes of the slave Administration servers in administration groups. This will make available the functionality related to slave Administration servers, e.g. creation of tasks for remote installation of software on slave Administrations servers. This option is disabled by default.

Display security settings sections

If enabled, Administration server, administration group, and other objects properties will have the Security tab. This tab allows assigning custom permissions to users and groups. This option is disabled by default.

Administration Server

Attention! The amount of RAM and processor types in Network Agent and Administration Server/Console are minimum system requirements to be able to install corresponding components. It is recommended to use computers with a larger amount of RAM and processor frequency.

Minimum system requirements to install an Administration Server:

- Windows Small Business Server 2003;
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 х64 and above;
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008;
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 installed as Server Core;
  
  Microsoft SQL Express 2005 as part of Kaspersky Security Center distribution kit cannot be used on this server.

- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 x64 R2;
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 x64 R2 SP1;
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 x64 R2 installed as Server Core;

  If you are going to use Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition SP3 as a database server, and it will be installed on the same computer as the Administration Server, it is necessary to install SP3 for Microsoft Windows XP Professional on this computer.
