In order to activate a commercial version of
Kaspersky PURE 2.0, your computer must be connected to the Internet.
Activation during the product installation
Having copied the files the
Setup Wizard offers to activate
Kaspersky PURE. You will be offered the following options of
Kaspersky PURE 2.0 activation:
- Activate commercial license – a 20 - digit activation code should be entered (e.g. XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX). Your computer should be connected to the Internet to activate the product. The Configuration Wizard will download and install a key file automatically.
- Activate trial license. The Configuration Wizard will download and install a key file which is 30 days valid. Your computer should be connected to the Internet to activate the product. Trial version is fully-functioning, however when a trial period expires the anti-virus databases will not be updated.
Before you activate the product, make sure the system date is set correctly on your PC! In order to activate commercial version of Kaspersky PURE 2.0 during installation, perform the following:
- In the Activation of Kaspersky PURE 2.0 window select Activate commercial version.
- In the field enter the purchased code and click Next.
An activation code should be entered from the keyboard in Latin ONLY without any hyphens. If an activation code was entered incorrectly, then you will not be able to click the Next button and the following message will be dispalyed: Incorrect activation code.
- The Configuration Wizard will connect to the Kaspersky Lab server and will download a license key file. Once you receive a key file, a window with license information – type, expiration date – will be displayed.
In the Activation of Kaspersky PURE 2.0 window with the information about successful activation click Finish.

Activation after the product installation
You can activate
Kaspersky PURE 2.0 after the product installation. If a trial version of the application was activated earlier, then in order to activate a commercial version the
Activate the application button will be available.
In order activate a commercial version of the application after installation, perform the following actions:
In the bottom corner of the window click the License link.
In the Licensing window click the Activate the application button.
In the
Activation of Kaspersky PURE 2.0 window, enter a purchased activation code into a field
Wait till the activation process is over.
- and click Next.
In the Activation of Kaspersky PURE 2.0 window with a message about successful activation and license information click the Finish button.
Close the main program window.
