How to connect/disconnect a container created in Kaspersky PURE 2.0?

In order to have the possibility to save the data in an existing encrypted container, you need to connect it first. When created, a container is connected automatically. InformationTo connect the container Kaspersky PURE 2.0 should be launched

Connect container from the program interface 

In order to connect a container via the application interface, do the following:
  1. Open the main program window.
  2. Click the Data Encryption button.
  3. In the Data Encryption window select the necessary container from the list. If the necessary container is not in the list, add by clicking the Connect container link and by specifying a path to it.
  4. Click the Decrypt data / Encrypt data button.
  5. Enter a password and click OK.
  6. To open the container, click the Open container button.

Connecting container via Microsoft Windows context menu 

In order to connect the container via Microsoft Windows context menu, do the following:

  1. In Microsoft Windows Browser open the folder where you saved the container during the container creation.
  2. Right-click the container icon and from the context menu select Connect container / Disconnect container.
  3. In the Data Encryption window enter a password and click the OK button.
  4. To open a container, select Open in the context menu or double-click the container icon.

You can connect/disconnect a container using an existing shortcut on the desktop. For this, perform the following actions:

  1. Right-click an icon of an encrypted container and in the context menu select Connect container /Disconnect container.
  2. In the Data Encryption window enter a password and click the OK button.
  3. To open a container, select Open in the context menu or double-click the container icon.

Замечание After finishing work with the data stored on the container you are recommended to disconnect the container, as when the container is connected (i.e. not encrypted) any user can access to your personal data.
