How to unlock Password Manager
By default, the Password Manager is disabled or locked. In order to unlock the component, do the following:
- Open the main program window.
- At the bottom of the main program window click the Password Manager button.
- In the Password Manager window click the Start Password Manager button.
- During the first launch of Password Manager Password Manager setup wizard is started automatically. To know how to configure the Password Manager settings, see KB7691.

If after installation of Kaspersky PURE 2.0 you have already launched Password Manager, and then locked it, then in order to unlock the component once again, do the following:
- Open the main program window.
- At the bottom of the main program window click the Password Manager button.
- In the Password Manager window click the Unlock Password Manager button.
- In the Password Manager window in an empty field enter your master-password, which you specified during the first launch of the component.
- In the Password Manager window click the Unlock button.

How to lock Password Manager
In order to lock Password Manager in Kaspersky PURE 2.0, at the bottom right corner of the taskbar area right-click the program icon and in the context menu select Lock Password Manager.

How to enable/disable Password Manager on program startup
Kaspersky PURE 2.0 has an option of automatic start of Password Manager on the program startup. By default the component autostart is enabled.
If you do not want Password Manager to start automatically on the program startup, then disable this mode. To disable/enable the mode, do the following:
- Open the main program window.
- At the bottom of the main program window click the Password Manager button.
- In the Password Manager window click the Settings button.
- In the Password Manager Settings window select General.
- In the right part of the window uncheck/check the Start Password Manager on Kaspersky PURE startup box.
- In the Password Manager Settings window click OK.
- Close the main program window.
