Launching automatical databases update after computer start in Kaspersky PURE 2.0

In Kaspersky PURE automatical databases update task is delayed for 15 minutes after computer start. Such delayed databases update task is created in order your operating system boots all the required processes before the databases update. Thus, the system resources will become available to download anti-virus databases.

To change the task launching time, do the following:

  1. Open the program main window.
  2. At the top right corner of the main window click the Settings link.
  3. On the Settings window go to the Update tab.
  4. In the Run mode and update source section click the Run mode button.
  5. On the Update window go to the Run mode tab.
  6. In the Schedule section check the By schedule box.
  7. In the Postpone running after application startup for field, enter the time in minutes.
  8. If you want the update to be performed automatically, check the Automatically box or configure the necessary schedule:
    • Frequency.
    • Run every.
    • Run time.
  9. Save the changes by clicking the OK button on the Update window.
  10. On the Settings window click the OK button.
