Using Parental Control from Kaspersky PURE 2.0 you can restrict file types that can be downloaded. You can view statistics for downloaded and blocked files for each user account on the selected computer as well as a detailed report on the events.

How to view brief statistics

In order to view the brief Internet access statistics, perform the following actions:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. On the left hand part of the main application window, select Parental Control.
  3. On the Parental Control window, click on Settings and reports button.
  4. On the upper part of the Parental Control window, go to the Reports tab.
  5. On the left hand part of the window, select General Statistics.
  6. On the right hand part of the window in the Internet section, you can find brief statistics.
  7. Click on the OK button in the Parental Control window.
  8. Close the main application window.

How to view detailed report

In order to view the detailed report of downloaded files, perform the following actions:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. On the right hand part of the main application window, select Parental Control.
  3. On the Parental Control window, click on the Settings and reports button.
  4. On the upper part of the Parental Control window, go to the Reports tab.
  5. On the left part of the window, select File Downloads.

  1. On the right part of the window, you can find the detailed File Downloads Report:
    • File. Downloaded file name.
    • Time. Time when the file was downloaded.
    • Result. Status of access: AllowedBlocked.
    • Number of downloads.
    • Popular websites. Diagram of popular websites.

  1. In order to view the report on a specific period, select the required period from the drop-down menu in the Period section. You can select one of the following periods: dayweekmonthyearentire period. You can switch periods by clicking on the arrow buttons.

  1. Click on the OK button in the Parental Control window.
  2. Close the main application window.
