How to view brief statistics and detailed report on messaging via social networks in Kaspersky PURE 2.0?

Controlling social networking means controlling correspondence contents and contacts with which the messaging is allowed. In Kaspersky PURE 2.0 you can:

• create lists of allowed and blocked contacts
• specify key words that all incoming messages will be checked for
• enter personal data prohibited to be sent

If messaging with a contact is prohibited, then all messages addressed to this contact or received from it will be blocked. Information on blocked messages and key word presence in messages is displayed in the report.

For each user account on the computer you can view a brief or detailed report on social networking.

How to view brief statistics

In order to view the brief social networing statistics, perform the following actions:

1. Open the main application window.
2. On the left hand part of the main application window, select Parental Control.

3. On the Parental Control window, click on Settings and reports button.

4. On the upper part of the Parental Control window, go to the Reports tab.
5. On the left hand part of the window, select General Statistics.
6. On the right hand part of the window, you can find brief statistics.

7. Click on the OK button in the Parental Control window.
8. Close the main application window.

How to view detailed report

In order to view the detailed report of social netowrking, perform the following actions:

1. Open the main application window.
2. On the right hand part of the main application window, select Parental Control.

3. On the Parental Control window, click on the Settings and reports button.

4. On the upper part of the Parental Control window, go to the Reports tab.
5. On the left part of the window, select Social Networking.
6. On the right part of the window, you can find the detailed social networking report:
   • Direction. The message direction (incoming  and outgoing ).
   • Contact. Conact who sent the message.
   • Time. Time of sending or receiving.
   • Number of messages.
   • Popular contacts. Diagram of popular contacts.

7. In order to view social networking with a specific contact, perform the following actions:
   • Select the required contact in the list and click on the "+" button.

OR

• Click on the View messages button.
• In the Messaging: <contact name> you can view networking or select another contact.
• Close the window.

8. In order to view the report on a specific period, select the required period from the drop-down menu in the Period section. You can select one of the following periods: day, week, month, year, entire period. You can switch periods by clicking on the arrow buttons.

9. Click on the OK button in the Parental Control window.
10. Close the main application window.
