Standard installation of Kaspersky Security for Mac

The Kaspersky Security for Mac distributive includes not only the installation tool, but also the uninstallation tool. In order to install the application, perform the following actions:

1. Open the Kaspersky Security  file with the extension *.dmg:

or launch the distributive volume:

2. In the open window select Kaspersky Security and double-click it.

3. In the application run determination window, click on the Continue button.

4. On the Introduction step, you can find main functions and system requirements for correct application functioning. Click the Continue button in order to start the installation process.

5. On the License step read carefully the license agreement to exclude disputable questions concerning the product use. To continue click the Continue button.

6. To confirm that you agree to the terms of the license agreement click the Agree button.

7. On the KSN step the Setup Wizard suggests participation in Kaspersky Security Network. If you participate in the program, Kaspersky Lab will receive information about new threats, detected on your computer. As well as system information and a unique identifier will be specified for your computer by Kaspersky Security for Mac. Please note that no personal data will be gathered or sent within this process. Read the Terms of participation in Kaspersky Security Network. If you agree with all the terms, check I agree to participate in Kaspersky Security Network. Click Continue button to proceed with the installation.

8. In order to install the application click Install on the Installation type step.

9. Enter the name and the password of the administrator account to confirm the Kaspersky Security  for Mac installation.
10. Click the Install button.

11. Wait until the installation process is complete.
12. On the Summary step the information about the successfully installed application will appear.
13. To close the installation window click the Close button.

After the installation of Kaspersky Security for Mac activate the program:

• Activation of a commercial version.
• Activation of a trial version.
