How does Mail Anti-Virus from Kaspersky PURE 2.0 work with the mail client Outlook MS Office using the protocol IMAP4?

In Kaspersky PURE 2.0 when the mail is scanned by the protocol IMAP4 in the mail client Outlook MS Office 2003/2007/2010 by default before scan all messages are downloaded on the computer locally. 

In order Mail Anti-Virus would not scan these messages on delivery but would scan them only on read, perform the following actions:

For MS Office Outlook 2003/2007

For OS Office Outlook 2010

If MS Office Outlook 2003/2007 is installed:

1. Open the mail client Outlook MS Office 2003/2007
2. In the upper menu select Tools > Options

3. /
4. In the open menu go to the Email protection tab
5. Uncheck Scan upon receiving
6. Check Scan when read
7. Click on the OK button 
8. Close all windows.

If MS Office Outlook 2010 is installed:

1. Open the main window of Microsoft Office Outlook.
2. On the upper left hand part of the window, select File.

3. On the left hand part of the Outlook Options window, select Add-Ins.
4. On the right hand part of the Outlook Options window, click on the Add-in Options button.

5. In the open menu go to the Email protection tab
6. Uncheck Scan upon receiving
7. Check Scan when read
8. Click on the OK button 
9. Close all windows.
