Problem: After installation of Kaspersky PURE 2.0 Internet connection speed, measured on a special website, may decrease.
Cause: All Internet traffic goes through a
Kaspersky PURE 2.0 filter, whose work can be misinterpreted when measuring traffic download/upload speed.
Resolution: To measure the real Internet connection speed, try to download a file with a size more than 100MB using either a download manager or a torrent client.
Internet connection speed also depends on the Internet channel load and node location. Therefore, if Internet connection speed is slower than stated, try to test your Internet connection on different websites in different time.
The problem keeps repeating. What should I do?
If after you performed actions described above the problem keeps repeating, create a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via the My Kaspersky Account service. Describe your problem in all details and attach screenshots showing Internet speed decrease.
