In some cases it is not possible to connect to a computer with Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 installed on it via Remote Desktop. However, if Firewall in Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 is disabled the connection becomes available.

In order to resolve the problem, perform the following actions:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the right upper corner of the window, click the Settings link.

  1. In the upper part of the Settings window, select Protection Center.
  2. In the left part of the Settings window, select the Firewall item.
  3. Make sure that the Enable Firewall box is checked.
  4. Click the Settings... button.

  1. In the Firewall window go to the Packet rules tab.
  2. Find Remote Desktop in the list that will open.
  3. Right-click the Deny icon in the Action column and select Allow from the menu that will open.
  4. In the right lower corner of the window, click the OK button.

  1. In the right lower corner of the Settings window, click the OK button.
